GN Company completed production of one unit of customized design Sludge Vacuum Pump, which is specially used for bilge cleaning in shipyard.
Because of the small size of hatchway and big depth from deck to bilge bottom, so very few machines can be put down to clean the bilge instead of manpower. This Pump is specially designed to be able to put into the cabin easily.
The Sludge Vacuum Pump can be used to transfer sludge, solids, powder, sand, slurry, etc. And it is 100% air operation/driven, so it can work safely in frame proof area. And GN Company has CE Certification for this Pump. Till now, GN Company already supplied the Pump for clients in UK, Norway, Greece, Portugal, Russia, Oman, UAE, Bahrain, Nigeria, Mongolia, India, Malaysia, etc.

This Vacuum Pump is automatically working for suction and discharge material, and greatly saves manpower. Both of its suction and discharge time can be adjustable within 0~30seconds. Its working procedure is suction-discharge, suction-discharge, suction-discharge, etc.
There is no cost of electricity or diesel for the Pump itself, but it shall be supplied air, always Air Compressor. GN Company doesn't manufacture air compressor, while we suggest clients to find from local market, in order to save cost for both purchase and shipment. For example, air requirement for our smallest model of Pump is Air amount 4.3m3/minute (150CFM), and Air Pressure 550~690Kpa (80~100PSI).
Regarding to hoses used for Pump, the clients can purchase from GN Company, or find in local market based on references/pictures supplied by GN Technical Engineers.

GN Company completed production and painting of a GNDL-201 Sludge Dewatering Multi Screw Press, and it is expected to ship in the end of October. This client from Brazil asked the wetted parts of screw press shall be made of stainless steel 316, because of the concern of corrosion of sludge. And GN Company is also capable to design and manufacture wetted parts with material made of stainless steel 304, and Duplex stainless steel.
GN Screw Press is widely used for sewage treatment, including municipal, agriculture, food, starch, oil, pharmaceutical, chemical, paper, leather, etc. But if clients would like to reduce oil content in sludge cake after dewatering, it is better to use Decanter Centrifuge.
Compared to other dewatering equipment, such as Decanter Centrifuge or Filter Press, Screw Press has big advantages of low energy consumption, low labor intensity, and small footprint, low investment, and low operation cost. Generally it is more suitable to area where the power supplying is limited, such as India and Africa countries.

GN Company Sludge Solids Vacuum Pump can be used to transfer sludge (high viscosity/density), Solids (powder, sand, soil), liquid (slurry from different industries).

Now GN Company Technical Team has already developed 3 models of this Pump, with different capacities, including 10, 20, 40m3/hour (if calculated based on Water, its capacity is 10, 20, 40tons/hour).
The Pump's suction depth is 8meters, while discharge vertically is 80meters.
The suction distance is 50meters, and discharge horizontally is 500/1000meters.
And there is one big advantage for our Pump is that, because itself is 100% powered by Air, instead of Electricity/Diesel, so it can work safely in explosive environment.
GN Technical Team also developed a mini Vacuum Pump, which is specially designed for bilge cleaning in shipyard. Generally there shall be workers to get down into the bilge to clean the residual at the bottom of tank, and use lifting barrel to transfer out the residual to the top of bilge. But with the help of GN Mini Vacuum Pump, there is no need of manpower. The workers can lay down the Pump to bilge, it can easily remove the sludge and pumps out, maximum reach 80meters.

Recently GN Company received orders from two Indian Companies for different models of Screw Press, used for different projects. One project is used for municipal sewage treatment, and another project is for oil sludge treatment.
Sludge dewatering Screw Press is a new type of sludge extrusion dewatering equipment, and its working principle is screw extrusion, through strong squeezing force generated by the change of screw diameter and screw pitch, and the tiny gap between floating ring and fixed ring, to realize solid liquid separation.
Comparing to Filter Press and Decanter Centrifuge, Dewatering Screw Press has advantages of low power cost (Electricity), small footprint, less investment, and operation cost, etc. It is more suitable for clients in Africa and India, where power (electricity) supplying is limited.
GN Company is capable to supply material for wetted parts based on Stainless Steel 304, 316, and Duplex Stainless Steel 2507 can be customized.

This week GN Company completed production of one set of Dewatering Screw Press and Chemical Dosing Unit, and they would be shipped to client's plant for food wastewater treatment in India.
GN Dewatering Screw Press Features,
1. Screw Press can be widely used for sludge dewatering from different industries, such as Municipal Sewage, River Water, etc. And Screw Press can also be used for Oil Sludge Treatment.
2. Screw Press is working continuously and automatic, while it's not easy of blockage.
3. Comparing with other dewatering equipment, such as Decanter Centrifuge, Filter Press, Screw Press has advantages of low cost and power cost. And it is a compact structure with small footprint.
