Hydrovac Excavation is widely used in Europe and American for excavation. It is to use high-pressure water to scour the ground instead of traditional way of digging. This would produce a large amount of mixture of water and soil, which occupies a lot of space, and not allowed to discharge to sewer directly. The Client can use GN Slurry Treatment System to dewatering the slurry, reduce volume amount, and recover clean water for reuse. The slurry is always collected from different working sites by Vacuum Truck, and transferred to professional Slurry-Dewater Plant to treatment.

GN Slurry Treatment System is a multi-stage separation system of Solids and Liquid, includes coarse solid particle separation, fine solid particle separation, and slurry dewatering. (chemical dosing system is optional)

First module is Coarse Solid Particle Separation, there is a big Hopper to collect the slurry discharged from Vacuum Truck directly, this Hopper would separate out sundries, such as gloves, plastic bags, etc. And then the slurry would flow to Coarse Vibrating Screen through bottom port of Hopper, the Coarse Vibrating Screen would separate out gravel and other big size of stone.

Second module is Fine Solid Particle Separation, the slurry would be pumped to a Desander Plant, where sand, silt, and other smaller solids would be separated out.

Slurry Dewater Module is to use Decanter Centrifuge, which is to remove fine particles of less than 5microns in the slurry. GN Company can also supply Flocculant Dosing Unit, to prepare either powder or liquid chemical, which would add to decanter centrifuge with slurry together, it helps Decanter Centrifuge to get better performance of solid and liquid separation.

The recovered water from Hydrovac Slurry Treatment System can be reused for hadrovac excavaton, and the dewatered solids can be used for land filling or as construction material.
