Decanter Centrifuge Overview

The full name of the decanter centrifuge is the decanter centrifuge, a widely used piece of equipment in industrial solid-liquid separation. Depending on material characteristics in different industries, GN decanter centrifuges are available in dewatering, separation, and clarifying types.

With advanced centripetal pump technology, GN decanter centrifuges can also perform three-phase separation of solids and two immiscible liquids, providing flexible solutions for various applications.

GN Decanter Centrifuge Series

Series/TypeBeach AngleApplicable Material Features
T Series Dewatering Type 8.5° Designed to remove liquid from solid-phase materials. Suitable for large particle sizes, high density differences, low viscosity, high concentration, and high treatment capacity. Materials like sludge or wastewater containing fine particles may require flocculants to condense fine particles before dewatering.
Y Series Separation Type 15° Combines the advantages of T and C series. Designed for high clarity in liquid and dryness in solids. Ideal for soft materials, small particles, small solid-liquid density differences, large viscosity, and low concentration.
C Series Clarifying Type 20° Used for difficult-to-separate materials with small particles, small density differences, moderate viscosity and concentration, requiring high clarity of the liquid.
LWS Series 3-Phase Type According to material Designed for solid-liquid-liquid separation. Solids must be heavier than liquids, and the two liquid phases must be immiscible with different densities.

GN Decanter Centrifuge Features

As a leading manufacturer, GN Separation emphasizes product quality and long-term user benefits:

  • Material Selection: High-quality centrifugal cast or forged stainless steel is used for the bowl and screw. Wear parts are protected with hard alloy.

  • Precision Machining: CNC lathes, CNC centers, and CNC gantry milling machines ensure accurate machining of all centrifuge components.

  • Dynamic Balance: In addition to low- and medium-speed balancing, GN applies high-speed dynamic balancing at actual operating speeds for optimal performance.

  • Global Reach: GN decanter centrifuges are exported to over 60 countries and regions and receive high praise from customers worldwide.

With these four mini decanter centrifuges now in Europe, GN continues to support the exploration industry with reliable, efficient, and durable solid-liquid separation solutions.
