GN Company is professional manufacturer of Decanter Centrifuge and Disc Separator for over 10 years. Recently GN Company completed fabrication of one complete set of Oil Sludge Treatment Package for domestic environmental solution company. The capacity is about 15 cubic meters per hour, and the system includes 2-phase Decanter Centrifuge, 3-phase Disc Stack Separator, Polymer Preparation Unit, Sludge Feeding Pump, and supporting pipelines, etc.

2-phase Decanter Centrifuge is used for solids and liquid separation. Because of high viscosity and density of oily sludge, GN Engineers suggest doing pre-treatment on the sludge, including heating and adding demusfier. Sometimes if the solid content percentage in the sludge is high, it is better to mixture with water, to reduce solids content to about 20%. Thus the sludge is fluid bale and can be pumped to GN system. The client chooses GN a big model of Decanter for this project, with bowl size about 550mm, and length vs width ratio reaches about 4.1. All the wetted part is made of Duplex Stainless Steel 2205, which has great corrosion resistance than common stainless steel 304 or 316L.

The liquid phase discharged from Decanter Centrifuge would be feed into 3-phase Disc Separator, which is use for solid/liquid/liquid separation, and the light phase (oil) would be more purified, because of the stronger centrifuge force of Disc Separator than Decanter Centrifuge, as it has much higher speed. The light phase (oil) discharged from Disc Separator has water & solids content less than 3%, and it can be resell to refinery plant for energy.
