GN Company finished production of one set of Dewatering System, including Screw Press, Polymer Dosing Unit, and Sludge Feeding Pump (Progressive Cavity Pump) for Screw Press.

Dewatering Screw Press is used for sludge dewatering. Compared with Decanter Centrifuge or Filter Press, Screw Press has obvious advantages of low investment cost, low maintenance cost, and low power cost. It is a newly developed technology that dewatering is achieved by principle of screw extrusion, where strong squeezing force is generated by change of screw diameter and screw pitch, and tiny gap between floating ring and fixed ring.

GN Company now has developed different models of Screw Press with different capacities ranging from 0.1m3 per hour to 50m3 per hour, and discharged dry solids 5~640 kg per hour. And material of construction is available with ss304, ss316, and duplex stainless steel, such as 2205.

Polymer Dosing Unit can significantly increase performance of Screw Press, and Polymer Dosing Unit is used to gather fine solids particles to form bigger size solids. Dosing Capacity has 500L, 1000L, 2000L…5000L per hour.
