Generally Decanter Centrifuge, with bowl and screw material made of stainless 304 or 316, is enough for the majority of project, while there are some projects are for treatment of corrosive sludge, for example, high salinity wastewater has high content of chloride, the Clients would ask all wetted part are made of duplex stainless steel 2507.

Regarding to Flushing for clean, it is not necessary during continuous operation of Decanter Centrifuge. Only if Decanter stops working for long hours, for example, Overnight time, it's better to clean with water, normal pressure, 10~30minutes is Okay. And GN Company offers flushing both inside & outside bowl.
