Safety feature 1: Vibration sensor for GN decanter centrifuge
GN decanter centrifuge is equipped with vibration sensor to protect the centrifuge from abnormal vibration. When the centrifuge is blocked or there is something wrong with it, there should be big and abnormal vibration. With the vibration sensor protection, the centrifuge can be stopped automatically in this condition to avoid further damage to it.

Safety feature 2: Bearing temperature protection of GN design decanter centrifuge. There are sensors equipped for the main bearings of GN decanter centrifuge.
If the centrifuge is not running well, or there is something wrong happed to the centrifuge, there may be not abnormal vibration, so the vibration sensor is not workable in this condition. But the bearing temperature may be increased. It means there is something wrong with the bearing. If it cannot be stopped immediately, it will damage the bearing and then further damage the centrifuge bearing base and impeller. With the main bearing temperature sensor, when the temperature is over the set figure, the PLC system will stop the centrifuge automatically, then operator can come and check the centrifuge.

Safety feature 3: Cover open switch
It is dangerous and prohibited to open the centrifuge collection box cover during shipment. All GN centrifuges equipped with cover open switch. In case the operator wrongly open the collection box cover, the centrifuge will be stopped automatically to avoid human hurting.

Safety feature 4: Overload protection.
In case the centrifuge is overload, if it cannot be solved on time, it may broke the centrifuge auger and bearings, and burned the motors. GN centrifuge are equipped with overload protection. When there is an overload condition, the centrifuge will be stop automatically for protection.
