The routing and correct running schedule is necessary for a reliable performance of oilfield decanter centrifuge, and it can extend the lifetime of the centrifuge.
When the oilfield decanter centrifuge arrived jobsite, check every part to ensure them in good condition. Then assembly it well.
The schedule to use GN made oilfield decanter centrifuge are as following.
1) When the centrifuge arrived jobsite, firstly, remove the supporting ring under the bowl, and then remove the fasten belt. The ring and the belt is used to protect the centrifuge bearing during shipment. They are used to protect the bowl from vibrate and rotating during shipment.
Note: You should keep the supporting ring and the fasten belt well for reuse. Every time when the oilfield centrifuge moved from one side to another side. it should be protected by the ring and the belt, and locked well.
Start the centrifuge in a short time to check the rotating direction. if the rotating direction is not correct, you should stop the centrifuge soon, check and Change the phase conductors of the motors.
1). Start and run oilfield decanter centrifuge back motor in a short time to observe whether the gearbox rotates in a correct direction, and make sure there is no adnormal condition occured. Seen from the small end of the bowl, the gearbox shall rotate in counterclockwise.
2). Start and run oilfield decanter centrifuge main motor to observe whether the pulley runs in the correct direction, and make sure there is no adnormal condition occured. Seen from the small end of the bowl, the pulley shall rotate in counterclockwise.
3) If all rotating direction is correct, and the centrifuge running stably, then you can start the centrifuge feeding pump, and feed the centrifuge from small capacity. When the centrifuge is running stably, you can increase the feeding step by step.
Here is only some main point for oilfield decanter centrifuge operation. For detailed operation schedule, please refer the manufacturer’s operation manual.
