500GPM Mud Drying System consists of two mud tank system Tank #1 and Tank #2. Tank #1 is to process the dirty mud with shale shakers and decanter centrifuge and clean mud will fall into the centrifuge compartment.Tank #2 is to store dirty mud and dry cuttings from shakers.
Procedure Description of Water Based Drilling Mud Drying System
1) Dirty drilling mud collected from drilling site being transferred to Compartment #4
2) Screen Separation by GNZS703 shale shaker
#2 GNSB6x5-12J (37kw) Centrifugal Pump transfers dirty mud to #1 GNZS703 shale shaker. The mud goes through screens and falls into compartment #1, drilled solids discharge directly into mud feeder of GNZS594 Hi-G Cuttings Dryer Shaker.
Alternately, #2 GNSB6x5-12J (37kw) Centrifugal Pump can transfer the dirty mud to #2 GNZS703 shale shaker. The mud runs through screens and falls into compartment #1, and drilled solids are being conveyed by a GNSC180x2000 screw conveyor to mud feeder of GNZS594 Hi-G Cuttings Dryer Shaker.
3) Centrifugal separation by GNLW363G decanting centrifuge.
#1 Slurry Pump 50YZ40-10 (5.5kw) feeds mud in compartment #1 to GNLW363G decanter centrifuge. After the centrifuge treatment, clean mud will fall into compartment # 2, discharging drilled solids out of Tank #1 and collected by cuttings collection box #1. #1 GNSB6x5-12J Centrifugal Pump suck the clean mud from compartment #2 and transfer it out for reuse.
4) Drilled Cuttings Drying by GNZS594 Hi-G Cuttings Dryer Shaker.
Drilled cuttings from screen surface of GNZS703 shale shakers will be discharged into mud feeder of GNZS594 Hi-G Cuttings Dryer Shaker. Dried solids discharges to Cuttings Collection Box #2 and a little mount of liquid falls into compartment # 3. When the compartment #3 is full, #2 Slurry Pump 50YZ20-18 (3kw) will transfer the mud back to the compartment #4 for recycling.
